Data Insights

Ìýis a secure-access reporting tool managed byÌýInformation TechnologyÌýthat provides operational and historical data for planning at the University. The reports in Data Insights are developed in other applications, such as Cognos and Tableau, and brought together in the Theia reporting environment.

Requesting Access to Data Insights

Deans and department chairs are granted access to Data Insights when they are hired. All other faculty and staff must request access from theÌýOffice of the Provost.

  1. Download the Data InsightsÌýaccess request form.
  2. Complete the form and obtain signatures from your department manager and division head or budget officer.
  3. Email the form toÌýLinda Kosten.

Logging in to Data Insights

You can log in toÌýÌýdirectly in any browser with an Internet connection. If you are connecting from off-campus, you will need anÌýactive VPNÌýto access the tool.

To access Data Insights through the University's employee portal:

  1. Log in toÌý.
  2. Click the Data Insights tab.
  3. Click the button to go to Data Insights.
